About the role

Our Business Intelligence team, composed of 5 people, is integrated in the Commercial department and focuses on supporting the definition of the commercial strategy in close collaboration with our Strategy and Commercial departments.

As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will design and build data solutions that enhance our market intelligence capabilities, providing critical market, competitor, and customer analyses to support the BI and Commercial teams. You will get the opportunity to see how your analytical work directly contributes to strategic decision-making and have a positive impact on our global soda ash and bicarbonate businesses. You will be accountable for:

- Develop BI Solutions: Design, develop, and maintain automated market intelligence databases and interactive dashboards in Power BI to track key performance indicators.

- Analyze Market Dynamics: Analyze and forecast global soda ash supply and demand by interpreting market data, monitoring the economic environment, and modeling future scenarios.

- Conduct Strategic Research: Perform deep-dive analyses on specific end-markets, key customers, and competitor activities to identify emerging trends, risks, and opportunities.

- Evaluate Performance: Conduct customer and product profitability analysis to support commercial target setting and strategic planning.

- Deliver Insights: Synthesize complex data into clear, concise reports and presentations, providing actionable insights to support ad-hoc requests from senior leadership.

We offer an apprenticeship (12 months) contract based on hybrid (2 days per week onsite) working mode.

About you

Relevant education degree or equivalent in a master's degree quantitative field such as Engineering, Economics, Finance or Business Administration.
Relevant work experience in data analysis or market research is a plus.

Competencies:

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite, specifically in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, complex formulas, data modeling). VBA is a plus

- Experience with a data visualization tool like Power BI is a strong plus.

- Data management skills. Financial control background.

- Fluent in English.
